Ira V. Lee, III, an associate attorney at Logan-Thompson, P.C., focuses on civil litigation for individuals and small businesses, with primary emphasis on personal injury, family law, and business transactions. Since 2024, he has helped clients recover more than $4.3 million and counting. In 2025, Ira was named to The National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” for Civil Plaintiff work.

In his personal injury practice, Ira represents clients who have been injured in automobile collisions, slip and falls, product liability, and wrongful death cases. He routinely handles uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, fights to reduce medical liens and subrogation interests, and works to ensure clients receive full and fair compensation.

Ira also maintains a substantial family law practice, representing clients in contested and uncontested divorces, custody and support matters, and post-divorce modifications. His experience navigating emotionally charged family disputes allows him to protect his clients’ interests while promoting durable, practical resolutions.

Ira also provides comprehensive legal counsel to entrepreneurs and small businesses across East Tennessee. His transactional work includes drafting and negotiating a broad range of documents such as operating agreements, bylaws, partnership agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment and severance agreements, commercial and residential leases, real estate purchase and sale agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, and loan documentation. He also prepares independent contractor and service agreements, nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation covenants, assignment agreements, and a variety of business-formation and governance filings.

A native of the Atlanta area, Ira has called Cleveland home since 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University, where he chaired the Student Bar Association’s Constitution and Bylaws Committee. Before joining Logan-Thompson in 2023, he served as a judicial extern to the Court of Appeals of Georgia. He serves on the board of Mission First Alliance, a nonprofit that supports Christian-based initiatives serving first responders and their families.

Outside of his legal work, Ira enjoys fishing, playing golf, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, and spending time with his family. He attends First Baptist Cleveland.
