Laurie concentrates her practice on general civil litigation, focusing on estate planning, probate administration, conservatorships, landlord-tenant law, and dependency and neglect actions involving the Department of Children’s Services.  Laurie received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2006 and has worked closely with clients in East Tennessee ever since.

Laurie is a native of Athens, Tennessee, the daughter of the late David F. Harrod, a longtime attorney in Athens who was also a Circuit Court Judge for the 10th Judicial District.  She resides in Cleveland with her husband, Matthew, and her daughter, Sarah Grace.
