Family of 3 killed in cross-over car accident in Alcoa

Driving on Tennessee roads can be dangerous, and, regardless of how careful a driver is, the actions of others can often not be anticipated. A family from Seymour was involved in a tragic car accident on a recent Saturday afternoon. This was one of many cross-over accidents that have claimed lives on Tennessee roads in recent months.

When a car accident in Tennessee occurs, the aftermath can have serious effects on an individual's life. When the affected individual is seriously injured or killed, the repercussions of the accident can follow him or her, or surviving family members, around for life. When an individual is killed in a car accident due to the negligence of another individual, the surviving family sometimes seeks to file a wrongful death claim.

DUI and distracted driving lead to fatal accident

Tennessee residents who find themselves involved in car accidents know first-hand that their effects can be felt long after the accident occurs. Whether individuals are seriously injured or killed, these effects can remain with those individuals or their families for the remainder of their lives. When a car accident results in the death of another individual, that individual's family sometimes chooses to file a wrongful death suit against the driver believed to have caused the accident.

Worker falls 30 feet and hurts back in job site injury

It is fairly common for a job site injury to occur on construction projects in Tennessee. This is due, in part, to the fact that construction workers typically work at great heights and around heavy machinery on a daily basis. A recent construction accident in another state resulted in a job site injury and landed a worker in the hospital.

Although accidents can occur in many lines of work, injuries are often most common at construction sites. Between the equipment that employees utilize, the heights they must climb to and the dangerous surroundings they typically work in, accidents occur on Tennessee construction job sites all too frequently. One recent job site injury at a construction site in another state sent a worker to the hospital.
