A Tennessee, homeowner from Jackson was recently hurt after a car crashed into her home. The incident happened on a recent Sunday afternoon. The home versus car accident happened after the driver of a sport utility vehicle backed into the residence and penetrated the front room of the home.
One neighbor told reporters how surprised she was to see an SUV sticking out of the front of the home as she was driving by in her vehicle. The neighbor said she saw people surrounding a woman, who was injured in the incident. As it turns out, the incident has been deemed a complete accident.
Fortunately, the homeowner's injuries were non-fatal and she escaped the need for intensive medical care. No charges relating to traffic violations are expected to be brought against the driver who caused this car accident. However, the driver might face a claim for financial liability for the homeowner's injuries as well as property damage. For example, the injured Tennessee woman may choose to pursue a personal injury lawsuit, seeking a monetary judgment relating to the cost of her medical care and other financial losses following the accident. She would also be able to seek property damages relating to the price of repairs to her home.
